TORINO street-art and URBAN development
Torino’s squared urban plan is due to its origin as a Roman Castrum (Military campsite). Our ride will touch several places to witness the stages of the urban development, from a tiny village to a big city. Our guides will reveal the reasons behind architectural features of Boulevards, fortified buildings, aesthetic styles, and industrial areas and will tell the story of communication and merchant roads while cycling directly over them. We will ride across the ages, maybe overtaking a roman chariot or a steam train, understanding how events and the city mutually influenced each other.
Prices for school excursions are set according to group size
